Read the reviews like a detective

Every clinic board says "advanced" and "painless", so ignore boards and read Google reviews. Look at three things: the count (a 5.0 from 12 reviews is easy; from hundreds it is not), the recency (are people still happy this month?), and the specifics (real reviews name treatments, doctors, even the receptionist).

Demand the cost in writing, upfront

Ask what happens in an emergency

Do not choose a dentist with a root canal. Book a checkup and cleaning first: it costs little, and it shows you everything, how gently they work, whether they explain before they act, whether they push treatments you did not ask about, and how the billing feels.

Green flag: A checkup where the doctor explains what she sees, tells you what can wait, and pressures you into nothing.

Red flag: A ₹500 checkup that somehow becomes a ₹40,000 treatment plan on day one.
